@geape you know this isn't his original work, right? It's Papas Fritas/Tony Goddess' work from the late 90s, on Buildings and Grounds (recorded 1999, written~'97), and Marc kept the beats, even the same key. Little difference apart from the girl's accent. The video is beautiful, but they didn't even make the song their own version.I found this via PF's FB: "Marc Almond (of Soft Cell) and French chanteuse So slide through "Way You Walk" by Papas Fritas. And maybe they kill and bury someone, too?"

The video is beautiful. Wish it was more distinct from the Papas Fritas... which I still prefer... the way she enunciates is slightly annoying--"pacing at an open door, waiting" etc... Pay-sing- At an open door wai-Ting... it's a little unnatural with all the ING emphasis (not her fault, she was probably taught to pronounce every syllable and struggles to keep the first syllable emphasized without losing the word)... still a good singer,but unnecessary asTony Goddess/Papas Fritas did it so well.

i like marc almond and soft cell were great, but his solo work has always been a bit weak, there is so much better music out there

oh well, it seems it was heard in places as costes and colette, but like all almond's it's very good but let say: 'of controlled success'. Don't know why, 'cause I always think he is so good. I am a big fan, even when is very hard for me to get his songs, records, etc. -cause i live in an uncivilized country... this record is in amazon mp3 downloads, but I am not allowed to buy there ; ((((((((((
