Finding 10,000 customers that are taking it up the KAZOO will be the easiest job i have ever done. Let's see... 10,000 at 10 bucks a pop? Locating a firm will be the second easiest job i have ever done.
People, THINK about this. I'm not joking here.
Dancing from idiot server to idiot server isn't the answer here. They ALL play the stealing/lying game.
This needs to be ended now.

My issue is the agreement which shitshaw made with me when i signed up for their "high speed" service. Since that time, my bill has gone up 12 bucks, and my down load speed has turned to SHIT!
I have read the blogs, jumped through the hoops, but there is still the issue of my $54.88 per month bill for <30 kb/s download speed.
These ignorant shits are about to lose another RELIABLE, ON TIME, TROUBLE FREE CUSTOMER.
Perhaps a class action will remind them of what an AGREEMENT means?

The least they could do is give live metering so we can slow our usage, or stop it, when the limit is approached.

This is total crap. What really pisses me off is that every time I watch a youtube video it starts out with Adobe flash player ads. Why doesn't Shaw backcharge them, instead of nailing us. We're paying for ads we don't even want to see. Paying $77 for 20 Gb over and not even notification, at the limit? This is highway robbery. The bill more than doubled...and they so nonchalantly slipped the late info out. Some people have other bills to pay. This is like subterfuge.

i rather they have a contract...this is just plain evil

A few weeks ago I did what some might deem impossible or unthinkable: I cancelled cable TV. In retrospect it was long overdue. With today’s technology and high speed internet connections, I can watch most of my favorite shows on-demand with little or no extra cost. Ditto for movies, news, and even some sports.

I think its time for me to give shaw the boot!

For those who don't know, Shaw had increased their high speed internet price just last september by 2 dollars (BC).
And now this? Quite the BS.
If yo'veu got a kid in college, get them to sign up for the student plan or sign up near August/september and get those $10/mth for a year plans.

For everyone's sake, go with Telus, I only hated their services because download sucked, but now if I'm going to be charged because everyone on my network is trying to do their thing and hanging everyone else with lag, especially when I'm playing games? I'm switching to Telus.
I know when I lag because of the large ass SPIKES I get in-game. Even when I loaded a page off my browser, you'll start moving all around the in Black Ops.
More upload = less work on router
Less lag = less frustration!

There was one point that Shaw had a bandwidth feature where you could check in, but I was one of those people who knew right after they took it down. Shaw has been a ton of shit lately, for 100 GB a month (I have Extreme Speed with Tier 2 added, just only 1 MB faster, conversion from bit to byte is 8, so 15 Mbps = 2 MB/s, add 1 MB and I get 3000 kb/s) with only 125 kb/s UPLOAD.
If 125 kb UP isn't slow enough for me, it's throttling that they fucked me with.
I'm STILL lagging when I wrote this.
K well how much data do people who have the highest speed shaw gives gets?

@XxHOCKEYxX57 If you're paying $150 a month you get 350GB data transfer (which is pretty insanely overpriced compared to many other ISPs) and are charged $1 per GB over that. And unless you've already gone over that limit in the past, Shaw would not have felt any urge to tell you. Most people would likely not go over 350GB in a month unless they are very heavy users, but Shaw has made so many underhanded moves that I think even those who happily pay that much should be offended.

@Davis420box soooo that makes it ok?? Two wrongs make a right?? You also agree with them lowering caps at the same time and not notifying anyone of either?
