Brilliant story, so many characters like Tsubodai in it worthy of a series in themselves. Amazing what Genghis accomplished with just strength of character and sheer determination. I finished 'Conqueror' the forth in so far in the series and was so addicted I had to immediately re-read them to sate my habit in anticipation of the book on Kublai. Iggulden is one of the best story tellers I've read. The truth most certainly is greater than fiction. No goofing off Conn, get that next book out.

When I first picked up The Wolf of The Plains I wasn`t sure if I would enjoy it or not. Needless to say I was hooked after the first chapter and couldn`t put it down. I devoured the second book Lords of the Bow. Now I have just bought the third and cannot wait to step back into the story. Beautifully written books! I don`t think they could make a movie out of these books without losing a lot of the details & grit & passion. Woud have to be very long movies!
I can't wait to read Bones of the Hills. The first two books were among the best I have ever read.
