I have been thinking about changing the focus of this blog to include more about the importance of growing your own food.

I'll cut back on this site as a journal for exactly what I'm doing and only mention the cool things (which will be difficult since everything that I do is so cool) and projects.

This will help to expand the site to give reasons why it's important to grow your own food and how you can grow your own food. One plant. That's all you need to grow to make that difference.

What are your thoughts on this?

  • It's a great cause and the chain effect of sharing this info can really make a difference. GO FOR IT!

  • @PCOStherealdeal Word. I want to change the approach a bit because I feel there is a disconnect between food and growing of the food (or "gardening"). To me they are very closely related and should be treated as such.

  • @CanarsieBK I agree 100% Of course I came 2 ornamental gardening as a child & learned about the effect the food I eat has had on my health in my adult hood. I was diagnosed with PCOS & realized that the food I or my mother ate while I was in utero very likely caused my disease. Of course more likely it was animal & animal by product's laced with hormones that caused the disrupt in me rather than additives & preservative & pesticides but...

  • @PCOStherealdeal sorry to hear your story. thanks for sharing it. want to help spread the knowledge and let others know.

  • Have fun!

  • @jujutubes Thanks.
