My step dad Once told me,And I always Enjoyed the quote. A Man Can Put Any Price on it. But its only worth whats in your hand . I orginally paid 250.00 for it. So it wasnt so bad. the one good thing i was able to fill the fridge with food for my Kids. and a pay a bill or two. And also have a little extra cash in y pocket to hunt down some other treasures. J But Dont get me wrong i agree 100% with what you say.

@wijtman01 do you know the difference between a fake and a reproduction? a fake is where you take a repro and age it up and try to pass it off as a "original"..a "reproduction" is when you buy if knowing its a repro not original..........

@Dassault354 obious signs of a repro, freaky looking spit pins, frest paint frest wire, new liner and chinstrap

just a few things most originals have no liner or the liners are well used, paints worn off, decals barely visible

@MrBirdchild I have a question, apart from the fact he stated it was a reproduction, how can you tell just from looking at this video whether the helmet is a genuine or a repro? It does look quite convincing just from the vid, some repros today are floorless, he's right about the stuff coming from china, some of it just looks way too shabby to be original, you don't even need to touch it, you can see it's fake. But just from this video, what is the obvious sign it's a repro?

@SASNIGHTCRAWLER yeh, agree with you, reproductions are ok, providing they are sold as reproductions, and at the price they are worth, that helmet is not worth 300 bucks, 40 bucks tops, but this guy has it all wrong
