that very well may be true but never forget the old yankee stadium the house that ruth built never forget his legacy never forget lou gherig and his tenacity to march on never give up joltin' joe dimaggio roger maris mickey mantle yogi berra keep them in your hearts for ever and cherish it and lets start the next chapter of yankee stadium and share those stories with your kids and how we going to beat those phillies and make them so sorry they marched into yankee stadium

it looks like alot like the old but only its more modern but hey they still have monument park in the back field behind center field and they still have those picket fences on top of the bleachers we will miss yankee stadium thats for damn sure atleast they kept the name name yankee stadium and did not go with some corporate name and why did they renovate the stadium in 73 and re-opened in 76 i never understood why what was the reason for it ?

iv been to the new one 3 times
nothing special just the screen its so big!!!!! but it will never be the same as the old one. i was an the last game at the old one and the first game at the new one. so sad to see the old one go:(

The House that Ruth built was destroyed in 1974-75.
The current (not new) Stadium is so unlike Ruth's Stadium, it's not funny.
Ruth's stadium seated over 72,000. The current Stadium seats 55,000.
The New one seats 3,000 less. More oom for aisles, concourses, and seats.
If you don't like it, by all means, stay away.
