Guess how you avoid getting infected.
It's a lot easier than figuring out why this extremely dumb AUTORUN feature was intentionally programmed to operate on removable volumes.

@Epicarrants Very good at deleting false positives without even asking and eating valuable system resources. Norton is only good when protecting multiple computer networks, but it will still take up most of your system's valuable resources and make it slower due to the coding routines it uses.

It's called conficker because:
Con = Configuration
Ficker = Fuck up
Conficker
Get it? Oh well, to defend yourself against this worm, just get a good antivirus (Kaspersky/Nod32, Norton sucks), firewall (optional, but if you are really paranoid then you SHOULD) and the latest Windows Updates.
