this is not happening because of "a few bad individuals", such massive quantities of abuse and corruption are only possible when *the entire culture is rotten.* The problem is not 'them', it is all of us. This is a major example as to why Lobbiest should be outlawed. At a minimum a former rep or senator should be excluded from ever working for a lobby firm or one of their law firms. It is an obvious and huge conflict of interests.

Also, name one person in the past 5 years that "swam" here from Cuba. If this is so common it should be easy.

Hey 60 Minutes.......how about spending a segment on finding out what is GREAT about the USA instead of bashing it every Sunday night.

There are people in Cuba who have been swimming in shark-infested waters, for the last 30 years, risking getting eaten by sharks, just to get to the USA. Are people from the USA, swimming in these same waters to get to CUBA ( to embrace it's glorious Socialistic /Communist government ?)

This is just sad, but it happens with everything...check out how ethanol is also a product of corruption. Hell, half the tax shelters do really nothing for the economy and are really a tool for high asset entities. The american public are simply getting screwed.
