Lessons Not Learned, the Looming Budget Crises in Wisconsin's Schools.
First in a series.
After cutting school aid by $151 million in the state budget the State of Wisconsin then used $789 million in one-time stimulus money to prop up its education funding system.
This loomng crisis may be under the radar for now, but many district administrators and some lawmakers are extremely worried about what will happen for the 2011-2012 school year when the stimulus money is no longer flowing.
