Osteoporosis is a condition characterized by a decline in the density of bone, decreasing its strength and resulting in fragile bones.

For a long time I was concerned that my ultra running and fruitarian diet could cause bone stress fractures.

Now after years of running 100-200 miles a week and never having any bone fracture issues, I have great confidence that a fruitarian diet is not deficient in anything.

The main cause of fragile bones is a highly acidic diet, resulting from a high consumption of protein (whether from animal or vegan sources), and starch. This acid must be neutralized by the body. Sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium are alkaline minerals released from the bones to neutralize the acids. These minerals are then eliminated through the kidneys into the toilet. Sometimes they resolidify in the kidneys and form kidney stones.

It is not how much calcium you consume that is important, but how much you lose through neutralizing the acids. The body produces acids all the time as a byproduct of normal metabolic reactions. We need alkaline minerals from alkaline forming foods such as raw fruits and vegetables to neutralize them.

  • another thing that may allay people's fear is louis kervran's research on biological transmutations of elements. he was puzzled by how there's so much calcium in cow's milk & eggshells when the mineral cows mostly eat is magnesium (grass) & silicon (from sand) for chickens. he found that plants & animals can transmute elements in their bodies @ zero energy. mainstream scientists don't want to hear this & hold on to the dogma that elements can only change thru nuclear fission or fusion .

  • The most healthiest people in the world are raw vegans.....fruit and veggies keeps the human body hydrated , energetic , within itself , happy , normal , low body weight etc etc etc..

  • Not gain weight but lose weight....why???? Because natural foods like fruit and vegetables have the natural sugars , vitamins and minerals our body needs, wants and craves for......there is no way in hell you can get diabetes from natural sugars...you can eat a ton of fruit a day and you will never develop diabetes or any other illness... It's the processed un natural sugars in chocolates , lollies etc etc that's making people around the world sick.

What does healthy mean to you? 99.9% of the best athletes in this world eat meat and fish, which proves that it's healthy because u cant have such a strong body if ur eating unhealthy. And what do u mean by "we are not supposed to eat meat"? If we werent supposed to eat meat, then our bodies wouldnt gain anything from it and wouldn't digest it. Ur claims have no scienfific proof.

    And it's not about living longest, but healthiest. I mean, you can live to be 110 years old and survive 3 cancers, osteoporosis, MS-disease and plagues, but that's not what people want. People want to be healthy, NOW, today, and tomorrow and 2 weeks later, 60 years later. You can't do that with diet worse than raw foods. ^_^
