  • Wonderful! In 1983 I was lucky enough to play the character of Laughlin McLaughlin in a production of "The Hasty Heart", and at the last of the play I enter, wearing for the first time my clan's kilt, sporran, dirk, etc., that was given to me as a bday present by my mates in the hospital, and as I entered, "Highland Laddie" was played. That lovely tune has haunted me every since, and just now was the first time I've heard it since 1983! Lovely and powerful! Thanks!
