Leo Hahn (1927-2008) performs his version of "When Sunny Gets Blue" on his 1966 Barney Kessel Gibson, in 2000 at age 73. During his life, Leo played in trios and groups in nightclubs and for hire in Ohio, all the while working in a manufacturing plant, i.e., factory. A mostly self-taught musician, never really learning to formally read music, Leo learned guitar from his uncle at age 6. As a young man, he was a Navy musician, playing to the troups during WWII, with a band of performers that included the later-to-become-famous dancer and choreographer, Bob Fosse.

  • great use of thumb, top version man, swings a bit like snoozer in parts

  • Reminded me of Tal Farlow.

  • 真的佷好聽,伯伯去世了嗎?

  • Yeah, you got it , nicely done

  • Nice chops, but what a perverse interpretation.

  • Nice job.

  • NICE JOB, Leo, on one of my favourites of all time. I've heard many versions of this tune but your jazz

interpretation is exceptional. BRAVO and thank you.
