Actually the rich have it easier than the poor, what religion u r is irrelevant! This is statistically true. The poor catch hell n 3rd world countries! Denmark is mostly atheist and has longest lifespans! So much for divine favoritism!

@GrenGoddess According to Christians, God gave everyone freewill to choose their lifestyles. Some people commit crimes because they know they will receive forgiveness, and some people commit crimes just because they can. They know there are bad people in the world, but if they choose not to TRY to fend for themselves, well, that's when people get raped and killed. Basically, what I meant to say was, if there is a God, he doesn't give the fucks that everyone says he does.

@FluffyBunnyYellow according to their beliefs then it does not matter at all if there are bad people in the world since they have a god and its divine protection. They are immune, as they claim. The reality is the exact opposite. This shows that religious people do not REALLY believe in divine protection and they do not REALLY think there is a god. They want to believe it but deep down they know it is not true. They just cannot admit it especially not to atheists and non religious like us.

And the Bible also says the world will HATE you (as in people who are truly saved) Jesus said "They will hate you because they hated me first" and also it has been estimated since Jesues death 50 mill have been killed because of their faith. John the baptist had his head cut off. all but one of the disciples were slaughterd. Paul was stoned to death. Christians don't believe he will always protect us from death.

Woah, woah woah...I am an Atheist, but the part where you question why Christians put up smoke alarms, fences, and all this protection is extremely ignorant.

This video suggests that Christians are totally oblivious to the fact that there ARE bad people in the world. They somehow cannot fend for themselves for a bit? Many of them know that God's hand isn't going to swoop down and knock down a rapist when the Christian is confronted with danger...
