This video is an example of video self-modeling research (VSM) conducted at Siskin Children's Institute in Chattanooga, Tennessee. VSM is a technique in which Institute researcher Tom Buggey, Ph.D., films children practicing a new skill so they can continue to improve their performance based on what they see on screen. Lillian Benkert, a 4-year-old with autism, uses this video to help her learn how to socialize with others. For more information, visit www.siskinresearch.org.
