Panasonic Lumix DMC GF1 HD 20mm 1.7 TEST

I shot this test using the Lumix GF1 with 20mm pancake lens.

Audio done using Zoom H2.

Some color correction applied.

Edited with Final Cut Pro.

This camera can be very shaky if not on a tripod so I used a Stedi-Stock.
Most Hand Held & Shoulder Camera Support systems cost hundreds of dollars and are very cumbersome the Stedi-Stock is made by a gun company but can be found at most camera stores and runs about $25.

Just amazing the color and the lens I'm getting a VIXIA HF M40. Did you use any color effects? Also where could I get a similar lens

The VIXIA HF M40 does not have interchangeable lenses so with that camera you are relegated to use the fixed zoom lens the camera comes with. You could however get a wide angle adapter for it but I don't see the need. You would be better off buying a circular polarizer, I love those. From what I've seen the VIXIA HF M40 can produce great 1080p images, good macro shots. It might not have the shallowest dof but you can work around that.

No sure yet the lens I was using was a prime. If you feel like buying me a zoom for it I'd be glad to tell ya.

The camera has interchangeable lenses but the lens I am using here is a fixed 20mm, not a zoom, a zoom is available but I have not used it.
