Why can't we understand gay people as they are?

We should focus on WHO they are instead of HOW they become ones.

Give them same benefits and equal recognition.

I am a Christian and I feel uncomfortable when they approach me time to time but its tolerable.

However, I absolutely CANNOT tolerate people like Rick Santorum, who abuse religion to gain his political stand.

Hey Brian, you seem rather insistent on having your questions answered so answer the one I asked you: Did the parents of the baby ho died of whooping cough make the right decision when they chose not to vaccinate their child? I suspect you're pro-life, so would it be a pro-life position to avoid a simple step that protects a baby from a deadly illness?

That's not what I asked you. But I'm going to ask it again, is it wrong for family members marry among themselves, yes or no? Up to this point no one who believes that it’s fine for people of the same sex can marry each other were able to answer that question when presented to them. I ask that question because there are people who engaged in that kind of relationship, and see nothing wrong with it. So if you believe that kind of relationship is wrong, on what grounds do you based that on?
