  • Um. Ford is doing what we all should do when we have debts...pay for them. not have mom and dad bail you out. Ford acted responsible, and listened to the main economic principle "supply and demand". GM and Chrysler stole our money. when you file for bankruptcy you dont have to pay the debts back. Thats why they dont have debts. Ford didn't steal our money. thanks Ford.

  • Hey Ed, this commercial was in 2009, right? Well, what about Hummer, and Saturn and Pontiac? They where still around at the time of this ad

  • 0:37 LOOK THE ATS BARLEY BEING UNVEALED LOOK.WOW RIGHT UNDER OUR NOSES.

  • Japanese Cars: 250K Miles of oil leaks. V-4 125 HP = Engine done with.

American Cars: 275K Miles of transmission problems. V-8 260 HP. Fixeable.

German Cars: 250K Miles of expensive maintenance. V-8 300 HP. Costly.

    Your choice.

  • @chambs42 The only reason Ford didn't have to borrow our money the same way GM and Chrysler did is because they were fortunate enough to have their money run out right before the economy tanked and banks tightened up their lending habits... So they were able to get all their loans from banks rather than tax payers. Had the timing been just a bit different, they would have been in the same spot as GM/Chrysler.

  • @nocomp222 looks like ford isnt soo perfect either.. get over it guys nobody is perfect but if you allowed those companies to fail you would repercussions larger than anyone could imagine

  • @nocomp222

Don't support ANY American car manufacturer. Their entire existence for the past 30 years has been from tax subsidies, protectionist tariffs, government loans, and massive debt.

January 2010, Ford receives a 600 million Euro loan from the EIB, the investment arm of the EU.

March 2010, UK gives Ford $551 million in loan guarantees for "green" car development.
