DKC - Warps & Shortcuts

This is just a short video compiled to show you all the shortcuts in the game. The order is:
-Ropey Rampage (world map*)
-Barrel Cannon Canyon
-Mine Cart Carnage
-Stop & Go Station
-Millstone Mayhem (Donkey only)
-Vulture Culture (Donkey only)
-Tree Top Town
-Uranutan Gang (3x world map*)
-Snow Barrel Blast
-Slipslide Ride (Donkey only)
-Trick Track Trek
-Poison Pond

* = Warps on the world map only work in the V1.0 release NTSC/PAL of the game, not in later versions.

As apparent there are warps in every level from Mine Cart Carnage to Tree Top Town, with the exception of Bouncy Bonanza. This makes me wonder whether there exists some warp, which is unknown to me...

I would say, spyro, that you are lacking some skills and know-how. You realise that these are for the original, Super Nintendo version, yes? I've done all of these, so yes - they work. Although, it seems that the map screen warps don't work in all versions of the game.

What button do you have to press to warp while moving on the world map?

Press 'B' once exactly at the corner of the bends as shown. Also there may be only a one character on the screen for it to work (use Funky's flight barrel if you are with both Diddy and Donkey).

Also, in my childhood I recall warping from the bend from Cranky to the first Cave level, on the bend, to the world with Manic Mincers -Kremkroc Inc.

Do you know about that one?

I don't know about it and as the vid shows that warp goes to level two. You could be mistaken, since it was a long time ago. Even if you are right how would one be able to trigger that warp if there is another warp at exactly the same position?

The Snow Barrel Blast shortcut has to be by far the greatest warp cheat in videogame history!! Without it, the level would be impossible to beat!! I lost about 30+ lives and spent about 50 minutes on that level until I finally remembered that hidden barrel. Thank goodness for the Rambi tokens!!

When i did this level repeatedly I figured out that the "N" is in the air and in the ground at that part. If you get the N in the air in the barrel die, then come back the ground N is 10 banana's.

I think I used that Vulture Culture warp once when I first got the game, then got a game over and wondered where the heck I found the warp in the first place. Dang, you have to be fast to trigger it. Great job on finding all of these!
