My belief that Israel's legitimate right to act in self-defence does not entitle them to undertake military action that leads to high civilian casualties. I argue that the United States bears a heavy moral responsibility for the slaughter.

  • no, i'm not seeing much of it on the tv over here just on the net :(

10 mins of truth maybe week to 30 mins a night one sided view.

Humanity seems lost over here and all i keep hearing is who is right and to me their wrong.

you would think no one wants Peace :(

    Keep the fight up, T.

    Peace and Love=)

  • Although I am very critical of Israel, the state of Israel does have a right to exist and its people have a right to peace and security.

The people of Gaza have the right to peace

and they have the right to open borders so they can travel and so that their economy can flourish.

    Thanks for the comment czarwright

  • It is so very wrong. The U.S. does bear some responsibility.

It is my hope that with a new president we will move towards a more thoughtful approach to a very complicated situation. Good to see you Tony. Hang in there my friend.

  • Thank you ck,

Obama's first words saying he felt for victims on both sides was a good sign.

Sometimes in these situations it appears desperate but much diplomacy is happening that we only find out about years later if ever. That's my hope anyway.

  • we need this man as our president... unfortunate shame of your death, it honestly hurts my heart to know such a wise man fell to cancer. RIP

  • true!.Any1 in power does do injustice to the weaker.Although every human being have equal rights, lets just see what U.S is doing in afghanistan, iraq .Even though people worldwide know who is doing wrong but somehow.World is full of racism. White man has more vaulable life den others

  • Tony (poster of this video) died a week ago of cancer.

Don't know if any of you knew him in real life, but I thought you should know.

  • The barbarics are you zionist, ok let's forget Hamas so why those people killed from Lebanesse?

  • who does like isreali people there bitches!!

  • I agree with you that the bombing raids of WW2 brought about a fundamental where the majority of casualties are civilians rather than combatants.

I don't believe we should accept this as being irreversible.

The overuse of artillery and air strikes to minimise loss of American/British etc life cannot be justified if it causes excessive civilian casualties. As for white guilt I wonder what the American reaction would have been if Britain had dealt with Irish terrorism by bombing Belfast.
