Greg discusses the recently released episode by House that includes asexuality. Basically, it was a fail, a very painful fail.

  • Yeah, I just walked away from the television. It kinda irritated me.

But how does a physical dysfunction have anything to do with attraction which is mainly in the mind?

  • @ChaCharlotta That would be a misconception people just seem to make about asexuality without truly knowing anything about it. So the answer? It can't. The physical dysfunction dismissal comes from ignorance.

  • Love the irony of the Sherlock connection ;)

  • Im very very curious about this. I was wandering if you mind me asking you a few questions?

  • Oh no... I haven't seen the episode--I was afraid they'd do it wrong--and now I don't know. Shit. It could have been great. I'm pretty depressed now too.

  • I'm Asexual as well and when I saw that episode (when they found his tumor and her lie) I was so disappointed and was mad. I was really hoping to see an asexual character or characters portrayed in the media and in a positive light. Boy were we asking for too much. Sherlock was asexual but was turned into a sex lover by hollywood. Wow so every orientation gets positive light..except us asexuals. Media, I am disappoint.

  • Really good Video! :)

  • I'm going to see If I can dig up this episode.

I like Hue Lorey. I think he's a decent actor, with a wide range.

I hope this episode isn't as closed book as your saying.

Whatever has been said, we can probably last through it, as we have lasted before.

  • Hahaha, I knew it! I knew they'd do it wrong.

  • I am so disappointed in this. House used to be one of my favorite shows until it went downhill, and it's gotten worse than I ever thought. I'm glad I stopped watching it, but I'm sad that such a great premise to a show was fucking ruined by more general hatefulness towards aces.
