@canaan1967 Thanks for mentioning this. The video is meant for absolute beginners. We figure if someone is searching for how to ice skate that are just learning, so we wanted to keep things as simple as possible, and just show them how to get started

We plan on making some more videos that show the proper way to skate, this video is teaching how to learn to skate.

Do you guys have a zamboni or something? Because i skate at an outdoor pond and it's nowhere near as smooth as this one is.

wen i was little we used to bring plastic chairs onto the bogs to learn to skate again and it usually worked within a few days

This is great! I've always wanted to be able to skate and play hockey but it just never happened. I decided to finally learn at 21, picked up a pair of skates and a helmet and tomorrow morning I'm gonna get out on the ice for the first time in way too long, this vid will help a ton! I swear last time I went ice skating, I fell on my knees 34958464585 times and by the next morning, they were swelled up, with purple and red bruises on them :'(

This is really easy to understand unlike a lot of other videos on here. I have an ice skating party to go to tomorrow and I am the worst skater ever so hopefully these tips help :)
