Me playing my Irish Whistle thats been sitting around for the last few months. Pulled it out and looked up some tunes. There is Sailors Wife and Kesh Jig. Haven't played it much, and am used to saxophone, so the air flow is really different. There is no resistance, but if you push too much you crack on the whistle, so i have to get used to using less i guess. Any advice would be welcome! also some brands of good Low D's and just good brands in general.
and i just rewatched it and saw a typo -___- i swear im not dumb just tired... and that freaking last note on Kesh Jig...guh...
Hm... Well played, but a few things to address...
1) as always, your speed. You're rushing - take your time!
2) Ornamentation - you've added some lovely ornaments but you're not used to them... They're knocking your timing off, and it's affecting your overall performance.
3) Breathing - It's alright to find notes in a tune that you can kick out so you can breathe.
Keep it up :) You have good potential :D
