That was actually kind of endearing, especially their use of clips from the original series. It's like the series itself was included in the conversation.

I was a baby when it originally aired and caught up with re-runs...there is a true magic about it. The conventions are cool..I don't dress up, but I enjoy meeting the actors and listening to them speak. //dan

Exquisite TV-series. It has NOT been surpassed until these days regarding SPACE-theme.W.Shatner did UNFORGETTABLE job as Captain Kirk. Also CANNOT think anyone else as mr.Spock than L.Nimoy. DeForest Kelley as Dr.Leonard McCoy fits like a puzzle-piece. Basic ideas for this series are NOT so far-fetched than one might think AT FIRST. OBSERVE, that we DO fly and travel in SPACE already and ALL the time. Our spacecraft called Planet Earth just does not fit into the eye-sight from the ground-level.
