Wellington Airport at it's best... gusty northwesters up to 60knots were the best show in town on Friday January 13th 2012. Note: The AirNZ 73 retunred to AKL and how stable are those A320s!

  • your assumptions about airbus vs 737 are way off, maybe it has more to do with piloting skills! That first attempt looks like he hit windshear right over th threshold and just dropped out of the sky!

  • friday the 13th is bad-luck day so yud expect something like strong wind to muck up the planes to happen :)

  • but the ship is like a rock :)))))))

  • cool vid, been in a few landings @ wellington like these myself! gotta give respect to the pilots of the ATR 72's as well!

  • hats off to our Quantas pilot who landed us safely that afternoon from Brisbane!

  • Super video thanks for sharing...

  • The other aircraft in the video were equally as stable as the A320's. Windshear and stability are two very separate things.
