Listen if your going to give a tortural of Photoshop. Please be clear, donot use yourself as a model, get a higher res picture, and know what your doing man. To deselect anything is command D u should know that already. But your good keep practicing and please take my advice

ummm way easier way would be....pick a picture....make a new layer with nothing on it....go to layer...click new fill layer.....pick color green...go the the little drop down menu on the layers palletete and select color burn....then that makes ur whole pic green...use the eraser to erase your background from being green...and u got the hulk

Yeah but then it wont do the shading right and I will have to erase all the right parts but if that works for you that fine.
