@ollanderparker Thanks. It is amazing the way it handles the wind. I have just come back from flying in about 15 knots of gusty wind and the old Funbat just took it in its stride. I mean, yes yo had to
watch how far you were being blown down wind but it didn't get thrown around at all by the gusts.

I have been flying the Fun Bat for a while too. I was also amazed at how stable it was and how it glides. I also like the fact that it is small and compact. I can throw in my back seat when I go to work and fly it on my lunch break. Nice video!

@rcFFBloodyMicks Thanks Jon and Thanks for one hell of fun plane. There is one more Funbat in my club already and I suspect a few more will follow. Long live the FunBat!
would this be a nice begginer plane?

@mtblover98 No, you would find the Funbat a bit fast for a beinner. I taught a friend using somehting called the Blu-Dart. Looks a bit daggy but is easy to fly. Actually I quite enjoy
throwjng mine around when not using it to teach. Check out my Blu-dart review on my you tube channel.

@FlightLineDownUnder i tried to build the blu dart useing the power system on flite tests one and it was soo under powerd i couldnt flie it
do u know of any good 4ch trainers that are not super expensive and can handel wind

@mtblover98 That setup would have meant your blu-dart was highly over powered so you would only be flying it at less than half throttle. Also it does have a bit of a swing on take off so throttle needs to be applied slowly. Are you trying to teach yourself? If so you need to find a club and get some help. There are people out there who have taught themselves but most people (myself included) could not have learnt without help. The point is you need an instructor not a different plane.

@mtblover98 Sorry ran out of characters so here is the rest of my answer. I have taught my friend with the blu dart in 15 knots. He could not have managed a flight by himself but made good progress by trying and then letting me take over when he lost it. Gradually we reached the point where I never had to take over. I then added ailerons to it and let him get used to them.

@mtblover98 part three of my answer: There are a number of good 4 channel trainers out there. The AXN floater in its many forms (one of which is the Bixler) is a good trainer but I think you will find what you really need is someone to takeover when you lose track of what is happening. I hope that helps you spread your wings and fly successfully.
