David Baerwald- "Triage" Trailer

Someone told me the musician David Baerwald wanted to talk to me. Baerwald is best known for writing all of Sheryl Crow's first album "Tuesday Night Music Club, and the theme song to "Moulin Rouge" "Come What May".

I called him up and he told me he wanted to do a video presentation for a movie script he was trying to sell, with still pictures and maybe some video in it, and he had heard I could edit video. The projected movie starring Sean Penn (a personal friend of Bearwald's for 20 years) was supposed to be a musical of a Post Apocalypse America, where the wealthy live in utter debauchery and the have nots are brutally oppressed. Images of "brutal oppression, against opulent debauchery" were the catch words he keep using. Towards this point he showed me photos from the World Press Photo site that he wanted included.

I worked on it for two and half weeks. Baerwald did the music and direction, while I concentrated on editing the photos and video.

I was in his short film/video entitled "Triage" that he produced in the early 90's for the album of the same name. I would like to get a copy of it and can't find it anywhere. Can someone point me in the right direction?

He's not working on any new material that I know of. His main concentration is on getting the movie off the ground.

Love the album Triage - especially the first half or so. Didnt know he was working on a movie, and while I can see how some of the songs on Triage would work well for the theme, there's nothing new or original about his concept.
