Louie Bellson passed away on Feb. 14, 2009. He was a great Artist and and a great Soul. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched and brightened.

Archival concert video from 1993. We were younger then.

I had the great privilege and blessing of being allowed to travel extensively with Louie for almost 10 years between the mid 70's and mid 80's. His virtuosity is matched only by his kindness, decency and generosity. To have earned notoriety for being a great musician and an even greater person, is his gift to all who have known him. God Bless Louie Bellson.
