I was watching BET's tryers, that means trying 2 rock a crowd on the New Years Eve show and I got bored! No love to the old school and I even think i heard one of the tryers say "I am only here, because the real rapper didnt show up!" that being said, thanks 4 posting real hip hop, peace!

@ResidualDamage: Rakim's last album didn't suck; it had production problems here and there, sure - but lyrically? Rakim is untouchable. When you check out the reviews of his albums, they are almost ALL 5 stars, classics, and his The 18th Letter kills the output of 1000 wanna-be MC's trying to step to his fluidity and depth...just a sick brother! Live he shreds. I have seen KRS, Black Thought, GZA, you name it - but live, Rakim is off-the-ropes dope. Gets no realer than this brother.

Last album was alright. Lyrics were on point as always but the production was lacking. Still dope shit though.
