The smoke monster could of just flew abit higher and went over it.... Kate cant fly, but she managed to get over by climbing a tree lol

@drgoodman8 An Electromagnetic anomaly, made from Electromagnetic fog, It is a manifistation of evil/malevolence, This evil has existed under the light/heaven forever, once the Man in black went into the light the evil trapped under the light ripped his consciousness from his body and escaped with a portion of the light(Why he cant leave), Mib's body died but his consciousness although infected lived for 2000 years.
