Video shows the F-22, Raptor, F-16 Fighting Falcon, P51 Mustang, F-18 Super Hornet, F-4U Corsair, F-104, and Air National Guard C-130 Hercules, in many dangerous maneuvers, sometimes at the speed of sound. The maneuverability and flight characteristics of several jet fighters are compared.

Also in the show were F-104 Starfighters in close dangerous formation, and the B-25. The show included a shockwave jet truck and the AeroShell Aerobatic Team. The he F-18 Super Hornet flew in formation with the F-4U Corsair in the Legacy Flight. The F-22 Raptor, F16 Fighting Falcon, and P51 Mustang flew together in close formation in the Heritage Flight.
Also, the Misty Blues Skydiving Team was in the show.

Bomb bay openings are shown for both the Raptor and the B-25.

The Dayton Ohio Air show takes place near the National Museum of the United States Air Force near Wright-Patterson AFB, the birthplace of aviation.

The Dayton Air Show features precision aerial maneuvers to display some of the world's most amazing aircraft. Some portions are so dangerous they have resulted in crashes - stunt pilot Jim LeRoy had a fatal crash July 28 2007. However, the same aerobatics procedures continue unchanged in this year's show.

Some of the demonstrations are at just below, or possibly at, supersonic speeds. At times, the sound seemed to come from some distance behind the planes.

@cryteeek the F-16 has equal speed,higher payload,higher service ceiling,higher max takeoff weight,equal range,better avionics,better thrust/weight ratio,farther ferry range,lower RCS,more powerful engine,has a full glass canopy,and is $42million cheaper(its also 14 years older). the F-16 is far better, it is a sheer MASTERPIECE of aviation engineering.
