Video footage taken from the top floor of USU's Eccles Business Building captured the amazing moments when a group of bystanders, construction workers and students lifted the 4,000-pound car off the roadway while a man pulled Wright's leg to drag him from the wreckage.

The Utah State University student who was rescued Monday morning from under a burning car on a busy Logan highway is making a good recovery.

  • @laservlx At 1:05 he actually leans against the car! What a tool...

  • someone throw the fat prick in the suit on the fire.....

last oine to help but first one to take a look at the man as hes laying there.

  • @guitarkilla444 could be. You have a good point there

  • @NDesertFoxN I understand but think about it the he is probably the driver of the burning car and he's thinking at the moment that the guy is dead because of him so he must have been in shock to

  • @C05597641 Well if he had an interview he should have just left instead of sitting there watching them help. Your argument does not make any sense really. People walking by are better than someone sitting there watching . cause they had their reasons to walk by

  • @NDesertFoxN Stop venting your anger at people you assume are privledged. For all you know that guy had an interview and its his only chance to keep his house etc. Plenty of people would have just walked by without even stopping.

  • those cops should know first aid, they do nothing and leave it to the construction workers

  • @lilrara11804 if you did have First Aid training you would have known that dragging the person from underneath a car does not make sense if you are not going to attend to their well being by taking them away from toxic fumes and checking their bodily functions. There is no reason to offend sexual minorities on this occasion by referring to this term as 'gay' - do you know what 'gay' means? If you misuse it it just makes you look silly ;-)

  • @stueyrandall Stuey, they saved his life by dragging him out, he would have died from the flames and smoke. Yes, you want to move an injured person as little as possible, but he was in imminent danger of death under the car. Once out from under the car, the cops told them to move back because the ambulance and paramedics were only a minute away. They did exactly the right thing and the guy will make a full recover because of it.
