Have you watched much of the program? Holmes constantly brings in other people for specialized jobs, he's not trying to do it all himself! A smart GC knows when to bring in help, and WHO to bring in.

that floor should have been glued between the groves, later on with bounce it will move and leave large gaps

LOL what ever you do never spill water onn this stuff or you will be replacing it every time it gets wet .

@rx7dren - You don't glue that kind of floor - not even the edges. There is a reason for that.

I watch his show regularly and he always admits to what he doesn't know and brings in trades that know how to do it. He listens to their suggestions and allows them to do what they believe is right for that job. He will also admit when he learns something and will allow the installers to discuss it on the show. I don't know what show you're watching. How is he conning clients?

This holmes guy is full of it. I'm a licensed GC in California and I think this guy cons clients and the viewing public into thinking he knows everything about all trades.
