love this! dogs are for people with big hearts, here just long enough to become best friends and then gone like snow driven woodcock!
I miss all my dogs and love dearly the two GSP's I have ....while I dread the day that I
will have to say gooodbuy to them I cherish the days and hunts we have together!

That is a beautiful tribute!! I had a black and white setter named Kate also, she looked almost identical to yours except she was a little smaller. By far the best bird dog i ever had., no quail in alabama anymore except for preserves..i miss my bird dogs alot!! what loyal animals!!! thanks for your tribute ..it brought back great memories
