Atheists in Church - World Harvest

We visit the pentecostal prosperity gospel church, World Harvest. Located in Pickerington, Ohio, televangelst Pastor Rod Parsley.

The congregation was actually really nice and friendly - even the few that knew we were atheists (they were also sure we would see the light at the end of the service). It wasn't until after at the visitors area that things turned a tad sour.

It's so weird that you keep going to churches. Almost any other activity would be more worthwhile. I'd sooner hang out at Lilith Fair. I'd sooner french-kiss a hobo. I'd sooner man-scape a Greek man. You get the idea.

I used to go to that kind of church when I was a kid. Thankfully, I'm now atheist, so it's kind of funny and somewhat sad to look back on.

A person walk with God is what will save us, not religion. I feel bad for these people thinking they were going to church to poke fun of it and instead you sat through the serve. If you would of let God take control you would feel so different about things. Its not all about money or tithing. You may make it bigger then it seems but the bible does say Money is the root of all evil, and yes in the wrong hands it can be. Just love Jesus, The end is so close dont be left behind when he comes again!
