So, it's like the whole recovery thing from food, the time spent on "my problem with food" is a distraction from the reality of the moment as it changes and the mastery of emotion and mind, ultimately our biggest sensory training grounds.. The private practices and rituals of using or not using food as a drug is just the tip of the iceberg. There are more than 5 or 6 senses. The cravings come in many semi and unconscious forms.

@fingerpaintsmile - I hope the euphoria of telling EVERYONE how this is changing your life (after having it 2 days and reading only half the book) has translated into a real change ...

A beautifully simple application of mindfulness practice to relieve suffering. Thank you.
I am a compulsive eater, an emotional eater, and a binge eater, and have been for as far back as I can remember. I bought this book two days ago, am halfway finished with it, and it has already drastically changed the way I think and is on it's way to changing my life. EVERYONE (men too) who has or has ever had any issue with food, big or small, needs to read this book.

It took a lot of years to come to the realization that " Being me is enough".
