  • I am a compulsive eater, an emotional eater, and a binge eater, and have been for as far back as I can remember. I bought this book two days ago, am halfway finished with it, and it has already drastically changed the way I think and is on it's way to changing my life. EVERYONE (men too) who has or has ever had any issue with food, big or small, needs to read this book.

  • It took a lot of years to come to the realization that " Being me is enough".

  • So, it's like the whole recovery thing from food, the time spent on "my problem with food" is a distraction from the reality of the moment as it changes and the mastery of emotion and mind, ultimately our biggest sensory training grounds.. The private practices and rituals of using or not using food as a drug is just the tip of the iceberg. There are more than 5 or 6 senses. The cravings come in many semi and unconscious forms.

  • This video is very true. Geneen Roth is a great inspiration and her books are awesome. I look forward to what she has next!

  • I know this has nothing to do with the topic, but gosh what a beautiful healthy woman Geneen Roth is.........georgous features.

  • @fingerpaintsmile - I hope the euphoria of telling EVERYONE how this is changing your life (after having it 2 days and reading only half the book) has translated into a real change ...

  • It's spot on. Thank you! I'm reading your book to my mother so she can understand me.

  • am bulimic..i hope this book helps me!

  • I find your video ground-breaking. I wish for all the world to wake up and see this. This is a powerful topic that resonates with many people.

~~Allow me to share with you a newly released healing recovery book for those suffering with drug addiction, alcoholism or eating disorders: "Little Gifts of Sustainable Contentment," By C.J. Good. Check it out, (look inside for free), read it, then please pass it on to others you care about...:) Recommended for patients, and recovery centers.

  • A beautifully simple application of mindfulness practice to relieve suffering. Thank you.
