Safe syringe with re-use warning seal.Dreadful diseases such as AIDS and hepatitis for which there is no cure or prophylaxis are spread through re-used syringes. Re-use preventing disposable syringes are already available. But when we actually take the statistics their use is less than one in a hundred thousand and as such they do not serve even the heatlth education function. Many of them get inadvertently locked during use, all are costly, and none give a visual display to educate the health care staff and the public about the importance of 'clean' syringes.. In addition they cannot be re-used in the same patient. Becuse of these draw backs they are seldom used in the poor countries where they are most needed.Mostly people of the developing and underdeveloped countries where the risk of reuse and recycling is real would be benefited from this idea.
