  • @Bladerunner93 Actually I take that back. Captain Action was re-issued this year and the costumes looked great. They started with Captain America and Spider-man and had plans to release a lot of the Marvel characters.

  • @Bladerunner93 They've been re-issued recently but you can't get Superman or Batman. I know you can get Green Hornet and maybe Flash Gordon.

  • I can start to imagine Captain Action outfits of Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid, Alucard from Castlevania, Dante from Devil May Cry, Ash from Evil Dead, maybe even the Terminator!

  • @MoveOnDotOrgg I was only kidding around - I had a couple Capt. Actions too, plus several outfits for him. I also had Dr. Evil and Action Boy as well. Christ! Is everyone on YouTube humorless? I was only joking about their names. You have no sense of humor.

  • I had sell my CA a while back. I hated to do it but..... I had a nice complete Aquaman set, too, which I still think was one of the best action figure sets ever. I still have a Playing Mantis repro, but it's just not the same. The quality is just nowhere near the same. Thanks for posting this.

  • Is it just me or is there something vaguely strange that the heroes' names were "Captain Action" and "Action Boy"? Some of those action figures back then looked gay-oriented, like the "Big Jim" character "Big Josh" who looked like the "Brawny" guy. They had one later on that looked like Stone Cold Steve Austin.
