river.stone.haze is Brisbane-based original rock band that has been shaking windows for over two years, a 5 piece live rock band thats overflowing with energy. Come along to one of our shows and find out for yourself.
Each member of river.stone.haze has a diverse musical background, which creates the unique sound that has caught the attention of record producers and labels both at home, and abroad. river.stone.haze prides itself on having no over-dubs so that all our music can be performed live at the same quality as its recorded counterpart.
The band has played on some great bills in the past, having shared a show or two with Final Days of Autumn, Omni Anti, Diana Anaid, Returns, Hip Pocket, Stone Parade, Dogpound (of The Resin Dogs), New Manic Spree, Repeat Offender, Abbey Skye, The Lowdown, The Simon Wright Groove Collective, The Score, 1989, Letter to Spain, Dubdoubt, Chocolate Strings and many more.
The band has not performed many shows over the last year as this time was spent primarily working on the first EP. It has a unique sound, coming from a combination of classically inspired keyboards, raw electric guitar and jazz drums. The finishing touches were provided with the professional input of record producer, Stuart Stuart, known to some as "the Veronicas guy".
