Another example of Neville Fernando's sheer talent - "Love Story"

This is a popular song published in 1970, with music by Francis Lai and lyrics by Carl Sigman. The song was introduced in the movie Love Story.

The song has been covered many times. Andy Williams recorded the biggest hit version (#9 on the U.S. pop chart, #1 on the adult contemporary chart for four weeks). The song would also be recorded successfully by Lai himself with a full orchestra, and by Henry Mancini (U.S. #13), Rick Astley, Johnny Mathis, Shirley Bassey, Patricia Kaas, and Nana Mouskouri. Williams performed the song with Miss Piggy in an episode of The Muppet Show. There is also a Romanian cover of this song, by Aurelian Andreescu, as well as a French one by Mireille Mathieu.

Thank you guitarman. I shall watch out for them. I have trawled through miyaru Gee looking for a song my mum used to play of Rukmini's on vinyl but it is not there. I wonder if you know a song (forgotten the name of the song you see) that begins with the words hamadala undala (everyday I cry). I know this is truly vague but I hope you might be able to help?
