Nick's world stopped. His body froze. He could hear his heart shatter into millions of pieces. She had to be punking him or something, she just had to be.

"W-what are you saying?" he responded, feeling his voice break. "I went behind David's back and the guilt is eating me up. Last night shouldn't have happened." Nick looked into her eyes trying to find an explanation or some kind of emotion. All he saw was the blank feel of her eyes.

"Where is this coming from?" he asked her, anger building up inside of him. Shaking her head, Selena replied, "I've been thinking this since this morning," she lied. "It's not going to work out, Nick."
"That's a fucking lie and you know it!" he yelled. He punched the table, starling Selena who know had a worried expression on her face. "Keep your voice down," she whispered, her lip quivering. "Why should I listen to you?" he barked at her. "Don't you think that might be a mistake?"

"Nick, stop talking like this. You and I both know that we shouldn't have had sex in the first place!" Selena said, touching his arm. He jerked away from her touch, passing a hand threw his curls. "Then why didn't you stop me?" he questioned her. Selena opened her mouth but yet nothing came out.

"Exactly!" he snapped. "Nick, you're making things harder than it has to be," she said in a calm voice.

Suddenly, Nick had a hold on her shoulders, his nails digging into her shoulder blades. "Ouch! That fucking hurts!" she yelped in pain. "Just tell me this one thing," he began peering into those mocha eyes he fell in love with. "Just tell me that you didn't feel anything for me at all and I'll leave you alone."

Selena looked down, biting her lip. She couldn't tell him that her heart ached for his love. She had to think about David and not about her selfish needs.

"Just tell me goddamnit!" he shouted. Selena winced, looking up at him. "I have no feelings for you whatsoever," she said coldly. "Last night was a total mistake and I regret doing it. So if you have half of a mind, let me go."

Nick's knees buckled as he released himself from Selena. There was a long silence between them before Nick finally spoke. "I'm sorry I wasted your time," he said hoarsely, walking away from the girl who had stolen his heart and broken it.

Tears began spilling out of Selena's eyes. Even if it hurt so much to let him go, she knew it was the right thing...right?

It would not be selfish of selena to think of herself right now and tell nick that she wants to be with him. I agree with your tags so much, you could not be more right. Can not wait for the next episode and sorry that i did not comment on the previous episode
