I don't know how he'll get out of this murder case, they didn't have DNA testing or anything back then, and honestly how do we know he really didn't do it? I mean why would he say the "late Mrs. Bates" or come home with a scratch?

Anna's got spunk and that's why I love her as a character. I love the way she shuts down O'Brien even in the beginning before she fell in love with Mr. Bates.

@ellenkingsley ... I see your thinking, but O'Brien is also making me think... She seems capable and sometimes sneaky too. Thomas only cares about himself. Remember when that 'new' valet' was there and he had shell-shock, O'Brien showed she had a heart albeit well hidden.
I cannot wait for series 3, Who Did the Deed??? Ooh I am all a quiver now...
I must re-watch my DVD's *sighs*

I was thinking that Carlisle killed Vera but then I watched the episode back and thinking about it maybe Carlisle did kill Vera I hope Mary,Robert,and Anna will work together to get Bates out of prison

@buzzandjessie the newspaper guy must have done it. Vera was prbly still blackmailing him...he watched the house and after Bates left...this guy went in and pretended to have tea, but he put in poison when her back was turned. They'll be a big trial, Mary will have to testify about the whole thing to save Bates and Anna! Whaddya think?
