Thats not true...2006 and up are SOOO much better iin and out then the 2000-2004.

Most of them are lemons, Consumer Reports has them as the least reliable cars with the most problems, and that is an absolute fact. Beautiful car though.

Land Rovers after 2001 were built better and more reliable than older models. Although Consumer reports is a good source of information they are not always correct in their reporting. I owned a 2001 Discovery II and after 125,000 miles not one problem. Regular maintenance and oil changes. As wih all cars you have to maintain them regularly. Something most american buyers are not accustomed to.

It is such a shame that Land Rovers have so many reliability problems, they are beautiful cars but why take the chance of having a lemon.

not all, mine has been running fine for more than 5 years... it just leaks some oil from taking it off roading now and then
