could someone please translate this into english? It's very lovely, but I can't understand it :)
Each line in the acrostic (starting with alef and ending with the letter tav) is a line of praise - God is the master of forgiveness, awesome in praise, the one who answers in time of trouble, etc. Then the chorus phrase means "We have done wrong before you; be merciful to us."
