  • There's good instruments from every place in the world, and this one happens to be super bad ass. I'm american and play american shit..lol..used to have a sitar...i want one of these now..it's like a multiple slide guitar with no frets/a piano with no hammers mixed with a marimba...that's so fucking dope..peace in the middle east, and i really hope my county stops being such a cunt. pz

  • Hello (Selamun Alyküm) great music. very nice sounds. We would like this music of the Turks. If you can come listen to Istanbul from everywhere.

  • wow...!!! i like your Mezrab...

  • nice

  • And add a motorized organ rotory for some uber modulation. haha, that'd be so sick in anolgue.

  • And hold the sustain pedal in place, or lock down the mechanism.

    MORE SUSTAIN!

  • That's very intersting. Makes me sort of want to take out a tuning fork and mess with a piano..change the action of the mallets and where they are placed even.

  • Could you by any chance send me the music sheet of this piece? I would appreciate that!

  • The Europeans and Americans have the hammered dulcimer. A descendant of the Santur, (probably) came to Europe about 1200-1300 ad...(historians love to argue about dates/places on this one) it lead to the development of the Clavichord, Harpsichord and Piano in Europe. Basically, they are all harps laid sideways and played with small mallets. I play a hammered dulcimer, made and played in the style of late middle-ages/reniassance music. Santur is tuned differently.
