"Invictus" by William Earnest Henley

Having been taught this poem by his father many, many moons ago; Donald Binks has decided to now inflict it on the populace at large. Here he is reciting "Invictus" by William Earnest Henley. You will notice how happy and joyous it is. (Incidentally it was set to music and was a staple of baritones in the Edwardian era).

I thought it was funny! BECAUSE it was stagey! Its that old fashioned way poems were usually presented until the 1960es and sometimes beyond ... not the way I´d like poems presented though ... however, Im open for different versions and use to check all that I can get if ever attracted to a poem. So Thx for this.

@juiceknot I have to agree with juiceknot. The Alan Bates is superb, but equal is spokenverse. The movie is bringing out a lot of hams.
