I recommend reading the New York Times interview with Anderson it's really touching and the reporter is pretty candid about Anderson's emotions and how it affected him.
He cried multiple times during the Katrina coverage. He is near tears of anger while he completely bitches out the senator of Louisiana. There was another time when he was talking off camera with some Katrina survivors and one of them was holding an American flag and the camera panned over to Anderson and he was visibly crying.
did anderson ever cry in these harsh tragedies? i couldnt stand to keep a straight face when in a place full of sick or hungry or dying people, which is a common problem in america, cause so many people nowadays are unaware, careless and sometimes selfish. i dont get it.
