We need to think about meaning says Hitchens, yet all depth and meaning needs someone or something to mean it - without God life is redundant of meaning? Atheism can be consistent, but not when it tries to look for any semblance of meaning in life. Ask any Christian theologian and they will tell you that Gen 3 : 15 is the first mention of the Gospel. A Savior (God) born of a woman would crush the serpent's head. Ever since that time people wanted to know about that Messiah born of a woman until the day that He was born. The prophesy is significant enough for the kings of the east (the wise men) to come looking for Him when He was born.

So he created Adam and Eve to sin so he can send Jesus. How fucked up is that for a plan.
