You're the only other person I see on Youtube with a Getaway! vid. Awesome, but why is this? The game was great, and I was under the impression that every A8 user had it high on their list. I thought the Getaway! was a big deal--It's the best A8 exclusive I can name, but I guess it's doomed to only be enjoyed by a chosen few.

Shame about the framerate, the best bit about this game was its silky smooth scrolling

This game, Spelunker and Encounter are probably my three favorite Atari 800 games. I never owned my own system, but many of my friends had them, so I was always hanging out with my buds and playing these games.

Getaway! Is *extremely* challenging. I think it would be really cool to see a more modern port of this one, maybe for XBox Live or PS Network. They've already converted a couple of old computer games over like that, so there's no reason they couldn't do so for this one.
