His words, I dont know the internet, but I know pasta. What I can do with flour is amazing, the Internets a little bit of a challenge. His words.

Now the reason I tell you this is one, cause its a good restaurant. The other thing is that the restaurant was empty. So why would I tell you this story?

Now you guys impress me that youre stepping up now; tell me a few reasons why Im telling you this story.

Correct; it doesnt matter how good your food is, you have to know how to sell. What else, whats another moral of the story?

Correct; so to get them into the restaurant they have to know about you. What else?

Correct, thats the number one lesson. And he told me, his words, Well you know weve been open 4 weeks, I want to make sure everything was fine and get everything up and running.

Yes, I understand that principle, I actually do; except heres the thing, I dont care how good you think you are, trying to get your restaurants filled on the first day is probably impossible. But you might get 5 to 10 people to actually be there on the first day, and another 5 or 10 the second or third day. You think you could actually work out the chinks with that many people?

Yeah. With 2 or 3 people how many chinks you think youre gonna work out?

None.

Now you guys know my story when I started my first business; I had 100% capacity for the whole first 30 days I was in business. I grew my business 3 times faster than my competitors. How did I do that; conceptually speaking? I sold it before I had it. On the Internet thats what you have to do. Maybe not necessarily something that you dont have; but you have to start doing things in your decision making horizons way before time.

Ive got 100 pages, if not 200 pages, that are on the Internet right now being indexed that you guys have no idea are there. Cause theyre there; theyre just not in the navigation. So the spiders know theyre there but you guys dont know unless I give you the URL. And theyve been there for 2 weeks now. So now theyre all being indexed, and then they get ranked.

So thats how it works; first you have to be in the index, then you have to get ranked. So if youre not indexed you cannot possibly be ranked.

So Ive got 200 pages easily that are now being indexed; and then Im gonna start getting them ranked. So by the time the navigation bar goes in and people can actually go click and look around, theyre already indexed and theyre already ranked. Maybe a low rank but it doesnt matter; theyre indexed and ranked which means that the ascension up to page one is gonna be much faster, much steeper than anyone else.
